We believe that what makes a hero can be understood and applied to each of our lives when we explore the character trait or “virtue” that his/her actions demonstrate. Each of the heroes identified in this web site have one or more virtues selected for which that person is a good example. Once we know the fun facts, quotes, and stories about our hero’s life, then we can consider the virtue that s/he used to make such a positive contribution to our lives. So can we consider using that virtue ourselves.
